Featured Verse

from Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Why the Nightingale?

The nightingale, like most of us, is a rather plain bird. But like most of us, has a special gift from God, that when used to sing of God’s glory, delivers a powerful message.

The nightingale sings it’s most beautiful song in the darkest hour of the night, bringing hope and wellness in spite of suffering, always singing to the Glory of God, an inspiration to us all.

Why the Dragonfly?

I love dragonflies. Their versatility in movement and design is amazing. These tiny creatures can fly up to 30 MPH or just hover in one place. They can even fly backwards!

Born in the water and later taking to the air, the dragonfly is a symbol of change, transformation, adaptability and self-realization. The change that is often referred to has its source in mental and emotional maturity and understanding the deeper meaning of life. It represents wisdom, lightness of being, joy, adaptability, and an invitation to explore emotions.
